Swedish police say that several people were shot and some killed in a Gothenburg restaurant late Wednesday night after at least one gunman came inside and opened fire.
Gothenburg is in southwestern Sweden and is the second largest city in the country. Authorities said in a statement they believe an automatic weapon was used in the shooting. They do not have any suspects at this time, but said it took place in an area of the city that has a history of gang-related violence, The Associated Press reports. Police spokeswoman Ulla Brehm said that while it's too early to speculate on the motive, "there is absolutely nothing that indicates terrorism."
