Hillary Clinton's once-dominant lead over her Republican rivals continues to shrink as the election draws closer. In the latest indication, a Qunnipiac poll released Thursday found Clinton now trailing Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) in Colorado and Iowa, while barely leading the freshman lawmaker in Virginia.

In Colorado, Paul led 44 percent to 41 percent, while in Iowa he led 43 percent to 42 percent. A handful of other Republican hopefuls also tied or came close to Clinton in those states as well. A likely reason? Following revelations about Clinton's email habits at the State Department, a majority of Coloradans and a plurality of Iowans don't consider her "honest and trustworthy."
