Mark Kirk, a United States senator from the state of Illinois, home of great American statesmen like Abraham Lincoln, on Thursday described his colleague Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a lifelong bachelor, as a "bro with no ho," according to remarks captured on a hot mic during a session of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
Sam Stein of The Huffington Post caught the comment, which can be heard at the 0:26 mark:
In remarks to HuffPo, a spokesperson for Kirk — who, again, is a sitting United States senator — said he was just "joking around with his colleagues."
