A new app called Brigade launched in beta yesterday to offer users a new way to suss out the political views of their family and friends. If that strikes you as potentially awkward, you may not be encouraged by the fact that one Brigade founder described the app as a sort of "Tinder for politics."
The idea is to post your opinion on a political topic so your friends can weigh in, indicating whether they agree or disagree via a poll and comments. When you view a user's profile, you'll be able to instantly see how much that person or organization shares your views:
