The court-appointed conservator of Bobbi Kristina Brown filed a complaint against her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, on Wednesday, accusing him of causing "substantial bodily harm" to her after perpetuating "the fraud that he had married" her.
Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, has been unconscious since being found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home earlier this year, and it was announced Wednesday she has been moved to hospice care. "I filed the lawsuit to pursue justice on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown," Bedelia C. Hargrove told People in a statement. "No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured. Pat Houston and Bobby Brown have done all they can to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred.... The lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina. We pray that justice will be done for her and that it will be swift."
The complaint alleges that Gordon said he was Brown's husband in a bid to control her and limit her interactions with others, People reports, and also transferred a "large portion" of her money into an account controlled solely by him. A representative for Gordon did not respond for comment.
