An hour after the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 in favor of ObamaCare Thursday, President Obama praised the progress the country has made in finally making "health care not a privilege for a few but a right for all," after a century of discussion. The ruling upholds federal subsidies, allowing millions of Americans to continue receiving government aid through Healthcare.gov.

Obama underscored the fact that if the ruling had not been favorable, millions of people would have lost their insurance. "America would have gone backwards," Obama said. "That's not what we do. We move forward."

"We've got work to do," Obama admitted. "But what we're not going to do is unravel what has been woven into the fabric of America." Since the installment of ObamaCare five years ago, more than 16 million people have gained coverage, and one in three who was uninsured just a few years ago is now insured today.
