You can now get a beef brisket sandwich with your Starbucks latte

Next time you order a grande latte from Starbucks you can also pick up a barbecue beef brisket sandwich. In what is the Seattle-based coffee company's first foray into fast food, Starbucks is going to start selling a barbecue beef brisket sandwich at locations around the country. The beef brisket comes on sourdough bread and is topped with Jack cheese from Sonoma and Gordon Biersch-braised onions.

While the newest addition to Starbucks' menu undoubtedly ups its sandwich game, it remains unclear how the coffee shop will execute barbecue. Many of Starbucks' other sandwiches come pre-assembled and are simply reheated upon purchase, but that might not be so easy to do with brisket.
