Watch Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stare down the U.N. for an incredibly uncomfortable 45 seconds
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu skewered the United Nations on Thursday for its complicity in the Iran deal, which he believes will not curb Iran's nuclear program as intended. "The greatest danger facing our world is the coupling of militant Islam with nuclear weapons," Netanyahu scolded the assembly, adding that the deal would not "turn the rapacious tiger into a kitten."
"[Iran] pledged, 'There will be no Israel in 25 years,'" Netanyahu continued. "Seventy years after the murder of 6 million Jews, Iran's leaders promised to destroy my country, murder my people, and the response from this body — the response from nearly every one of the governments represented here — has been absolutely nothing."
"Utter silence," Netanyahu repeated firmly. "Deafening silence." He then fell silent himself, glaring out at the assembled United Nations for a full, uncomfortable 45 seconds of silence.

"Perhaps you can now understand why Israel is not joining you in celebrating this deal," Netanyahu finally said.
