Bernie Sanders is 'willing to consider' Hillary Clinton for vice president

Even if Hillary Clinton loses the Democratic presidential primary, she might still have a spot in the White House — serving as veep to rival Bernie Sanders.
"Look, she'd make a great vice president. We're willing to give her more credit than Obama did," Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver told Bloomberg. "We're willing to consider her for vice president. We'll give her serious consideration. We'll even interview her.”
Though Bloomberg's John Heilemann noted that Weaver "was at least half-joking," he added that "his comments were telling: about both the darkening assessment of Clinton among Sanders' people and their heady confidence that they can beat her."

In recent weeks, Politico reports that the tensions between the two candidates have been heating up, and Sanders campaign chief strategist Tad Devine confirmed as much in a comment to Bloomberg. "If we can make it about his message and his record versus her message and her record," Devine said, "we can beat her.”
