On a 266-167 vote, the House passed a two-year bipartisan budget deal on Wednesday, with 79 Republicans joining all of the House Democrats.

The Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015 extends the debt limit through 2017 and sets spending levels through September 2017. It also lifts the spending caps put in place in 2011, providing $80 billion in sequester relief, and prevents an increase in Medicare Part B premiums for millions of senior citizens. The bill now heads to the Senate, where Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said a vote will happen before the Nov. 3 debt limit deadline.
