Donald Trump was on top of Real Clear Politics' poll average for 107 days. That streak is over.

Ben Carson just ruined Donald Trump's winning streak. Donald Trump dominated Real Clear Politics' average of Republican presidential polls for 107 days, MSNBC's Steve Kornacki points out. But as of Wednesday, that top spot now belongs to retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, whom Trump now trails by one point.
Carson leads the field with an average of 25.3 points to Trump's 24.3. In third is Marco Rubio with 11.0 points, followed by Ted Cruz (8.3 points), Jeb Bush (6.3 points), Carly Fiorina (4.0 points), John Kasich (2.8 points), Rand Paul (2.5 points), Mike Huckabee (2.3 points), and Chris Christie (2.0 points).
