Obama on San Bernardino: 'It's just too easy' for this to happen again
During an informal speech from the Oval Office Thursday, President Obama addressed the steps that will be taken to investigate Wednesday's mass shooting in San Bernardino that killed 14 and left 17 injured.
"At this stage we do not yet know why this terrible event occurred," Obama said. "[I]t is possible this was terrorist-related... It is possible this was workplace-related." He added that the FBI will be leading the investigation with help from local law enforcement, and underscored the fact that, moving forward, the country needs to make it harder for incidences like this one to happen again.
"Right now," he said, "it's just too easy."
