A video circulating online Sunday purportedly shows Islamic State fighters executing five men they have accused of spying for Britain in Raqqa, Syria, The Associated Press reports. Here is AP's description of the footage, which they have not independently confirmed was released by the terrorist group:
The men, speaking Arabic, are introduced as "the enemy" and "apostates." Later they kneel lined up in orange jumpsuits in the desert, where they are shot in the head by masked executioners. Before the shooting, a masked man with a British accent mocks British Prime Minister David Cameron, calls the men "spies," and says IS will one day invade Britain and impose their version of Islamic law. The video also features an 11-year-old boy wearing military-style clothing, The Guardian reports. The hostages are thought to be between ages 25 and 40. Julie Kliegman
