Nikki Haley will deliver the response to Obama's final State of the Union

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley will deliver the Republican response to President Obama's final State of the Union address next week, her office confirmed on Tuesday.
Haley, who's considered a potential candidate for vice president on the Republican ticket, garnered national attention last summer when she called for the removal of the Confederate flag from the state's capitol grounds following the massacre in Charleston.
"This is a time of great challenges for our country, but also of great opportunities. I intend to speak about both," Haley said in a statement.
