Hillary Clinton said she's 'delighted' Bernie Sanders 'flip-flopped' on guns
Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton gave Bernie Sanders a backhanded compliment for "flip-flopping" on gun control, saying she was "delighted" that he decided Saturday to support a bill that would amend 2005 legislation he backed allowing gun manufacturers immunity from prosecution.
"I'm delighted that he has had a change of heart. I think that's all for the good," she said Sunday on ABC's This Week. "I welcome Sen. Sanders moving on one of the issues he was wrong on. I hope he will continue to move."
Clinton has often used Sanders' 2005 vote as a means of portraying him as soft on guns.
