Kanye West could be working on a David Bowie tribute album
So far it is nothing more than a rumor, but if the rumor proves to be true, we could have a David Bowie tribute album on our hands — recorded by none other than Kanye West.
According to an anonymous source that reportedly spoke with British tabloid The Daily Star, West is "determined to carry on David's work as a musical innovator. He says that the torch has been passed to him."
"Some are straightforward cover versions with Kanye actually singing. On others he is rapping with his own lyrics over Bowie's music," the source said of the unconfirmed album.
