The Islamic State published a eulogy in its Dabiq magazine Tuesday for Mohammed "Jihadi John" Emwazi, The Associated Press reports based on information from the terrorist-tracking SITE Intelligence Group. Emwazi was seen in multiple ISIS videos executing Western hostages, including U.S. journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff.

The U.S. targeted Emwazi in a November drone strike in Syria, with military officials saying they were "reasonably certain" the Kuwaiti-born British citizen was killed.
