Watch the sprightly new trailer for Suicide Squad


Can a movie about a bunch of relatively obscure supervillains do superhero-sized numbers? That's the big question for Suicide Squad, which follows a Dirty Dozen-esque group of D.C. baddies — Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Deadshot (Will Smith), Boomerang (Jai Courtney) et al. — as they go on a a top-secret mission against the Joker (Jared Leto).
It's an unusually high-concept premise for a superhero blockbuster, and the latest trailer pulls out all the crowd-pleasing stops to sell it, setting Suicide Squad's breakneck action sequences to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody":
Whether you're sold or not, there's a long wait ahead. Suicide Squad hits theaters in August.
