A construction crane collapse in Manhattan has killed at least one person and critically injured two others, the New York Daily News reports. The circumstances that led to the collapse are uncertain, though wind and snow may have been a factor.
"I could see it slowly coming down," witness Sean Campbell told reporters. "It lasted about five or six seconds. I didn't know what was happening it was happening so fast."
One person died at the scene. A second person was trapped inside a car and had to be freed by firefighters.
