Amy Winehouse's father is not happy that Amy won an Oscar
Even an Oscar win isn't changing Mitch Winehouse's opinion of the documentary film about his late daughter Amy Winehouse. Shortly after Amy won Best Documentary Feature Sunday night at the Academy Awards, Mitch Winehouse once again denounced the biopic, which he has criticized for portraying him in an unflattering light and misrepresenting the Back to Black singer, who died in July 2011. He says the Oscar win is more about director Asif Kapadia than about Amy:
Mitch Winehouse has promised that the documentary will not be the "defining image" of his late daughter. He says he is working on other projects, though he has not given any further details.
