Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has fallen behind Ohio Gov. John Kasich in the Buckeye State, an NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll out Sunday shows. The governor leads the billionaire business mogul 39 percent to 33 percent.
On Friday, Marco Rubio's campaign team urged supporters in Ohio to vote for Kasich instead, theoretically giving Republicans the best chance to stop Trump from winning.
Trump leads in two other Tuesday primary states, nearly doubling Rubio in his home state of Florida and topping Ted Cruz in Illinois.
