Ted Cruz is going to support Donald Trump unless he shoots somebody

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) wants you to know there's a definite limit to his support for Donald Trump, should he win the Republican presidential nomination.
"I can give you one example where I would no longer support Donald Trump," Cruz told reporters Monday. "If for example, he were to go out on Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, I would not be willing to support Donald Trump."
Cruz's line is a clear callback to Trump's very specific January assertion, apparently made in jest, that he wouldn't lose voters even if he shot somebody in the middle of Fifth Avenue.
