Donald Trump wins Illinois

Donald Trump will win the Republican primary in Illinois, CNN is projecting. When the race was called, Donald Trump was beating Ted Cruz, his closest competitor in the state, 40 percent to 26 percent, with 30 percent of precincts reporting. John Kasich was third with 22 percent of the vote.
