Prince is writing a memoir due out in 2017

Prince is writing a memoir to be released in fall 2017, The Associated Press reports he announced Friday.

"You all still read books, right?" Prince asked a New York City crowd.

Tentatively titled The Beautiful Ones, the book will be released by Spiegel & Grau.
