President Obama calls Brussels attacks a reminder to unite

President Obama diverted his attention from Cuba during his historic visit Tuesday morning to briefly address the terrorist attacks at major transportation hubs in Belgium earlier in the day that left at least 34 people dead.
"We will do whatever is necessary to support our friend and ally, Belgium," Obama said, citing the attacks at Belgium's Zaventem airport and at a metro station near the EU buildings in central Brussels as "yet another reminder that the world must unite."
"We must be together regardless of race, nationality, or faith, in fighting the scourge of terrorism," he said. "We can and we will defeat those who threaten the safety and security of people around the world."
