In a raid outside of Paris Thursday night, French police arrested Reda Kriket, a man who has been linked to the suspected ringleader of the Paris attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud. Kriket was reportedly in an "advanced stage" of planning an attack on French soil when he was arrested. Kriket was convicted in absentia last July of being part of a jihadist network in Belgium. The arrest was the culmination of weeks of detailed investigation, the French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said, and infiltrates the upper level of a terrorism network. It is unclear if Kriket has any link to Tuesday's attack in Brussels.
