John Kerry said the Republican campaign rhetoric is 'an embarrassment to our country'

Secretary of State John Kerry isn't too pleased with some of the 2016 campaign rhetoric floating around. In particular, he mentioned the anti-Islam and pro-torture stances as being hard to explain to global leaders Sunday on CBS' Face the Nation.
"I think it is fair to say that they're shocked," Kerry said. "It upsets people's sense of equilibrium about our steadiness, about our reliability, and to some degree I must say to you, some of the questions the way they're posed to me it's clear to me that what's happening is an embarrassment to our country."
