Piers Morgan just had the worst response to the assault allegations against Donald Trump's campaign manager

British media personality Piers Morgan thinks that if ex-Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields were a man, the incident in which Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski allegedly shoved Fields at a press conference never would have been an issue. In fact, Morgan tweeted just hours after Lewandowski was charged Tuesday with misdemeanor battery for forcefully grabbing Fields at a Trump campaign event, a man would have been "mocked" for making such an accusation — and "rightly" so:
Morgan then went on to say that not only would a man have been "tough" enough to handle Lewandowski's grab — even other women reporters could have taken it without "claiming 'battery.'"
If his tweets weren't enough, don't worry: Morgan says that after all the "absurd" responses to his tweets and to the incident, he's going to have to go ahead and write an entire column about it.
