Before polls opened for New York's primary, Hillary Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon offered a very cautiously optimistic forecast for the results in an interview on CNN. "I think the margin will be a little tighter than people expect," Fallon said.

Though some polls over the weekend did show the race tightening, a CBS News/YouGov poll still shows Clinton 10 points ahead of Bernie Sanders, and another poll out Monday by Emerson University shows her up by 15 points.
