Trump Towers voters overwhelmingly prefer Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump
Donald Trump may have swept the New York Republican presidential primary last night, but he certainly didn't do it with the support of his tenants. Residents at Trump Towers, it turns out, overwhelmingly favor Hillary Clinton.
A map of the blocks that Trump Towers occupies in Manhattan show that Trump only got 52 percent support from Republican voters in those blocks. Clinton, on the other hand, won the overwhelming support of 80 percent of Democrats.
While Trump may have lost miserably to Clinton, he can at least say he won Trump Towers against his Republican opponents. Ohio Gov. John Kasich got the support of only 30 percent of Trump Towers residents, while Sen. Ted Cruz got just 18 percent.
