Seth Meyers takes a closer look at Donald Trump's plan to reinvent himself

On Monday's Late Night with Seth Meyers, the host took a closer look at Donald Trump's new campaign aide, Paul Manafort, and how the Republican frontrunner is reinventing himself.
Manafort was brought on to reassure Republican leaders that Trump is the real deal, a relatively easy task for a lobbyist and GOP political operative who co-founded a firm that's represented a shady cast of world leaders once described as "the torturers' lobby." "He's also represented Bane, Victor Von Doom, Skeletor, and worst of all, Robin Thicke," Meyers quipped. "I'm not saying he crossed the line, I'm saying it's blurred."
Last week, audio leaked of Manafort telling GOP leaders that Trump is different behind closed doors, saying things in public he knows his supporters want to hear (Meyers calls Trump's entire campaign strategy "basically a game of Republican Mad Libs") while evolving as a candidate. It should come as no surprise that Trump's persona can change so easily, Meyers says, since his entire business career has relied on successfully manipulating the media. Watch the clip below to find out the elaborate steps Trump has taken in order to spin stories. Catherine Garcia
