Donald Trump has now swept 12 of the 13 original colonies

Tuesday proved beyond all doubt that the Northeast is Donald Trump's turf — he dominated the "Acela primaries," sweeping the night with victories in all five voting states.
But if that wasn't enough proof, Trump has yet another impressive claim: He has now won 12 of the 13 original colonies:
For those that were snoozing during sixth grade history, that means Trump has dominated in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, and Rhode Island. He will need to earn 1,237 delegates to lock up the GOP nomination.
