With lyrics like "I want to punch you and ignore you at the same time" and "there's nothing behind your eyes and you make us cry, counting the ways you would lie," "Goodbye, Ted Cruz" is sure to be the song of the summer.
On Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, singer Michelle Branch gave her 2001 hit "Goodbye to You" a 2016 twist, turning it into an ode to Cruz's failed campaign that documents his love of canned soup, that pesky Zodiac Killer rumor, and the fact that Carly Fiorina is his "only friend." It's seriously catchy, and there's no way you'll be able to refrain from belting out, "Goodbye Ted Cruz, won't miss your lizard face on the news." Watch the video below. Catherine Garcia
