This week's "Lie Witness News" segment was about Donald Trump, and "we decided to do some VP vetting on the street," Jimmy Kimmel said on Wednesday's Kimmel Live. "We went outside today and asked pedestrians if they heard who Trump picked as his running mate today, and what they think about that person. Of course, he has not picked a running mate. But did that stop people from weighing in?" Of course not. In what's perhaps a good sign for our democracy, the Kimmel crew only found a handful of people willing to brazenly lie in great detail about Trump's running mate in front of a TV camera, but keep an eye on that guy who thinks Dennis Rodman would be a reason to vote for Trump.
