In a speech that covered everything from his golf course in Scotland to mosquitoes, Trump brought up Gingrich, the former speaker of the House and a prominent surrogate for the presumptive Republican nominee, multiple times, hinting that he could tap him for the VP spot. "I'm not saying it's Newt, but if it's Newt, nobody's gonna be beating him in those debates, that's for sure," Trump said. He also promised that "in one form or another, Newt Gingrich is going to be involved with our government."
