French prosecutors said anti-terrorism forces have taken over the investigation of the truck attack in Nice, France, late Thursday, which left at least 84 people dead and more than 100 injured.
Interior Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet told Agence France-Presse that "an individual drove a truck into the crowd. He was killed by police. Investigations are currently underway to establish if the individual acted alone or if he had accomplices who might have fled."
