Melania Trump might not be so good at writing speeches, but she can certainly still make a statement. The potential first lady has been likened to the fashionable Jackie Kennedy since she made the comparison herself back in 2000, and 16 years later, with the White House in sight, she didn't disappoint when appearing at the GOP convention in a $2,190 Roksanda "Margot" dress.
A spokeswoman told Women's Wear Daily that Melania didn't use a stylist to help her pick out the ivory silk number, which is apparently actually intended to be a wedding gown; Melania Trump purchased the dress from Net-a-porter herself.
