Corey Lewandowski thinks Paul Manafort should resign

Donald Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski thinks so highly of his replacement Paul Manafort that he suggested Manafort might need to resign over the allegations that Melania Trump's Monday night address to the Republican National Convention was plagiarized.
On Tuesday in his new role as CNN political commentator, Lewandowski said if Manafort, Trump's new campaign chair, was the insider who approved Melania's convention speech — which bore striking similarities to Michelle Obama's speech at her husband's nominating convention in 2008 — Manafort should step down. "If he was the last person who saw this, and saw this happen, and has brought this on the candidate's wife, I think he would resign," Lewandowski said. "I think that's the type of person he would be."
Lewandowski, who was ousted and replaced by Manafort last month, seemed confident that Manafort would do the right thing if he was ultimately at fault. Watch his full comments below. Becca Stanek
