Finally, somebody has invented the equivalent of a Keurig coffee brewer for cocktails. The Wi-Fi-enabled Somabar ($429), now available for preorder, can make more than 300 different mixed drinks. Its six refillable, dishwasher-safe glass pods allow you to stock it with your favorite liquors, mixers, syrups, and bitters. Just place an order using the Somabar app, and this robotic bartender will dispense your martini or margarita in seconds. If you're a "budding mixologist yourself," you can add your own recipes to the app's catalog, says Liz Steelman at Real Simple. The Somabar can't add ice or garnishes, but maybe your guests can do that much for themselves.
