1 dead, up to 6 injured after mass stabbing in London

A woman was killed and up to six people injured during a knife attack in central London late Wednesday night.
In a statement, Metropolitan Police said the stabbings took place in Russell Square near the British Museum, and "terrorism is one possibility being explored at this stage," The Guardian reports. The woman was treated at the scene, and pronounced dead a short time later. A 19-year-old man has been arrested, and there are extra police officers in the area.
