In case you were wondering, Facebook makes a killing off all those advertisements that appear alongside (and mixed into) your news feed. Driven by strong mobile ad sales, the social media giant now earns more for every one of its 1.71 billion monthly active users than ever before, The New York Times reports. Facebook earned $3.82 per user during the second quarter, up from $2.76 a year ago. You can do the math.
