Robert De Niro says Donald Trump is 'totally nuts'
Republican nominee Donald Trump is "totally nuts," acclaimed actor and director Robert De Niro said Saturday while speaking at the Sarajevo Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"I don't know, it's crazy that people like Donald Trump — he shouldn't even be where he is, so God help us," De Niro commented. "But I think now they are really starting to push back, the media. Finally they are starting to say: 'Come on Donald, this is ridiculous; this is nuts; this is insane.'"
De Niro is a longtime supporter of the Democratic Party and Trump's opponent, Hillary Clinton, specifically. Trump has yet to respond to his remarks, but no doubt a tweet is forthcoming. You can watch De Niro compare Trump to his sociopathic character in Taxi Driver below. Bonnie Kristian
