Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly to divorce

After 12 years, Brangelina is reportedly coming to an end. Actress Angelina Jolie, 41, has filed for divorce from actor Brad Pitt, 52, citing irreconcilable differences, TMZ reports.

Jolie has apparently requested physical custody of their six children, with visitation rights for Pitt, and is not seeking spousal support. The date of separation is listed as Sept. 15, 2016, TMZ notes.

While there have been rumors of Pitt's involvement with other actresses, sources who know the couple apparently told TMZ that Jolie's decision to divorce was based solely on how Pitt interacted with their children. "She was extremely upset with his methods," TMZ writes.

The couple has been together since 2004, when they met while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith. They married in August 2014.
