Donald Trump is meeting with Fox News host Sean Hannity in Cleveland, Ohio, on Wednesday, to tape an hour-long town hall event in which Trump will explain his "efforts to win over African-Americans." Audience members will be invited to ask questions, with guest appearances from Trump campaign surrogate Ben Carson, campaign adviser and former Apprentice contestant Omarosa Manigault, and boxing promoter Don King.

The African-American news and opinion website TheGrio slammed the appeal as a "circus," writing that Trump's "recent efforts to secure black voters come as a result of desperation and not of genuine concern."
