Dodgers beat the Washington Nationals, will face Cubs in NLCS
The Los Angeles Dodgers are headed to the National League Championship Series after beating the Washington Nationals, 4-3, at Washington's Nationals Park on Thursday night. The Dodgers win broke an NLDS 2-2 tie, and Los Angeles will face the Chicago Cubs on Saturday for Game 1 of the NLCS. The Dodgers were behind 1-0 going into the seventh inning, but scored all four of their runs after a rally sparked by a homer swatted in by Joc Pederson.
Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw closed out the game and earned the save, on just one day's rest. You can watch his final pitch below. Peter Weber
