Rock and roll pioneer Chuck Berry announced on Tuesday that he is coming out of retirement, just in time for his 90th birthday. Berry revealed he is working on his first album in 38 years, since 1979's Rock It. The new album, titled Chuck, will drop in 2017 on the Nashville-based label Dualtone.

The album was recorded in Berry's hometown of St. Louis, and he dedicated it to his wife of 58 years, Thelmetta. "This record is dedicated to my beloved Toddy," Berry said in a statement. "My darlin' I'm growing old! I've worked on this record for a long time. Now I can hang up my shoes!"
