The Cubs have the same chance of winning the World Series as Trump does of winning the election
Hold onto your Cubs and/or Make America Great Again caps — unless you're a Hillary Clinton supporter or from Ohio, this is some news that might make you feel a little nervous:
The Chicago Cubs are trailing the Cleveland Indians in the best-of-seven World Series by a 3-2 margin and now have only a 24 percent chance of taking home the Commissioner's Trophy, FiveThirtyEight has calculated. Coincidentally, The Atlantic's Derek Thompson points out that Donald Trump has those exact same odds for winning the White House next week:
