Worried your job might make you late for Game 7 of the World Series? Don't worry, the Chicago Cubs have your back.
As a favor to everyone, the Cubs went ahead and wrote an excuse note Wednesday that can be tailored to anyone agonizing over making the first pitch at 8:08 p.m. ET. Because, as the Cubs pointed out in the note, the team's first chance at winning the series in 108 years is, well, "kind of a big deal."
