Samuel L. Jackson is no longer the only person who has seen a snake on a plane. Ten years after the actor's iconic film Snakes on a Plane terrorized ophidiophobes everywhere, passengers on a Carrier Aeromexico flight to Mexico City on Sunday spotted a serpent slithering around in an overhead luggage compartment.
A passenger captured a video so the rest of the world could be as terrified as those aboard the plane — especially when the giant green snake suddenly dropped down from the overhead bin:
The plane was given priority landing, and the reptile was quickly "secured," The Associated Press reported. The airline is still working to figure out how the snake got on the plane in the first place.
