Hillary Clinton projected to win Vermont

Hillary Clinton cruised to her first victory of the night in Vermont, NBC, CNN, and others are projecting. The solidly blue state earns her three electoral votes. The Democratic nominee trumped her rival 54 percent to 41 percent, with an estimated one percent of results reported thus far. Sen. Bernie Sanders, Clinton's rival in the Democratic primary who later became her strong supporter in the general election, hails from Vermont.
